Frequently Asked questions

Email

Q:  1/10/07.  I received an email from the turbonet.com support team saying I was sending spam.  Huh?

A:  It's another hoax, and an attempt to infect your computer with a virus.  Don't click on anything to read the instructions.

If we send you an email it will NEVER be from webmaster or support or admin or anything generic.  It will be from a real person, usually Monica or Tony.

Q:  1/9/07.  I've gotten an email from "Automatic Email Delivery Software" which says to reply to postmaster@turbonet.com.  It's about an undelivered email.  What do I do now?

A:  It's a hoax.  Take a look at the full headers for the message (in most email programs you right-click on the subject and pick Properties, then Details.  In Web Email you click on the message header to display the message, then the double arrow to get the full headers).  If it were from anyone at turbonet.com the IP address would be 216.98.224.1.  The one I got today was from 69.144.222.26 - not from around here.
